Brief techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing are used within medication management appointments. Standalone talk therapy without medication management is not offered.

Headway is the patient portal where telehealth appointments take place. It verifies insurance, submits claims on your behalf, and lets you self-schedule. Registration is free.
I live two hours from the nearest provider. Does telehealth actually work for psychiatric care?
For evaluation and medication management, yes. The appointment is a conversation, and the assessment does not depend on being in the same room. What it does require is a private space and a workable connection. Distance stops deciding whether you keep your follow-ups, which is usually what determines whether treatment works.
