What we do

Psychiatric care, without the waiting room

Three things, done properly, for people who have usually waited too long to ask.

Diagnostics and evaluation

Full psychiatric evaluations covering a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety and depressive disorders, for adults ages 18 and up.

Medication management and refills

Prescriptions targeted to your symptoms, with guidance that leaves you confident and informed about every medication you take.

Appointments that fit your day

Every appointment is by video, so you can be treated from wherever you are, including evening times, with no commute and no waiting room.

Our mission

No person left behind.

Supporting recovery involves more than treating individuals. It means building a safe community, one that promotes mental health awareness and safety, and leaves no person behind.

We aim to challenge the stigma around mental health treatment, reach populations that have traditionally been left out of it, and help train the next generation of behavioral health professionals to carry the same vision forward.

Who you will see

Your provider

Tim Korm, PMHNP-BC, the psychiatric nurse practitioner at Orange Pacific Mental Health

Specialized programs

Care built around when your life actually happens

Three programs for three groups who tend to fall through the gaps in ordinary clinic hours.

Daytime

College and university students

A program for students staying in treatment while carrying a full course load. Plans are built around sleep, focus and attention, energy, appetite, and staying socially connected.

After hours

Working professionals

Not being able to step out of a workday should not keep you from care. Evening appointments are available for people whose schedules do not bend.

Training

PMHNP clinical hours

Currently enrolled PMHNP students are invited to complete clinical hours with us, with an emphasis on the psychiatric interview, diagnostics, and psychopharmacology.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are a phone tree

Scheduling and appointments both run through Headway, the platform that verifies your coverage, submits claims for you, and hosts the visit itself. Registering is free.

  1. Check your coverage

Open Headway and confirm what your plan covers before you commit to anything.

  2. Pick your time

Self-schedule your intake appointment for a slot that genuinely works, evenings included.

  3. Meet your provider

Your appointment takes place in the Headway patient portal, which also holds your records and messages.

Questions

Before you book

Can you prescribe or refill my medications?

Yes, where it is clinically appropriate and after a full evaluation. ADHD is diagnosed at that evaluation, and both stimulant and non-stimulant options are discussed once there is a diagnosis. The practice prescribes stimulants by telehealth in line with DEA regulations, and follows the post-COVID extension under the Ryan Haight Act. More on prescribing and controlled substances.

Do you offer talk therapy?

We use brief psychotherapy techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing within the same appointment as medication management, so treatment works on more than one front. We do not currently offer full talk therapy sessions on their own, without medication management.

How do I schedule my first appointment?

Use any Request appointment button on this site. It takes you to Headway, where you can check your insurance eligibility and self-schedule your intake for a time that suits you.

What is Headway?

Headway is the patient portal you register for. It is where we hold telehealth appointments, verify your insurance eligibility, submit claims on your behalf, and where you self-schedule. Signing up is free.

Can I ask a question before I schedule?

Of course. Text our HIPAA-compliant line at (503) 987-3135 or email admin@orangepacificmh.com.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

Not at this time. Every appointment is by telehealth, in all four states. The practice keeps an office in each state, but patients are seen by video.

What insurance do you accept?

See the plans we accept by state above. We continue to pursue additional panels, and Headway confirms your specific eligibility when you self-schedule.
