Adult psychiatric care in Tempe and the Phoenix Valley
We provide psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management for adults ages 18 and up. Conditions treated include ADHD, generalized anxiety and panic disorder, depression and persistent depressive disorder, PTSD and trauma-related symptoms, OCD, bipolar disorders, insomnia, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, and stress-related conditions.

ADHD evaluation and treatment
Adult ADHD is one of the most common reasons patients contact us. We offer full ADHD evaluations, with medication treatment where medically indicated.
An evaluation covers developmental history, how attention and executive function affect work or study now, and the conditions that imitate ADHD or accompany it. Anxiety, depression and chronic sleep deprivation all produce attention and concentration problems. Treating the wrong one is the usual reason someone decides that ADHD medication did not work for them.
This matters particularly for students, who often arrive having been told that good grades rule ADHD out. They do not. They frequently mean someone compensated hard for years until the workload outgrew the compensation.
Where stimulant medication is clinically appropriate, we discuss it directly, including what it does and does not do, and what monitoring looks like. Non-stimulant options are discussed in the same conversation. The practice prescribes stimulants by telehealth in line with DEA regulations, and follows the post-COVID extension under the Ryan Haight Act.
Ongoing care
Medication management and refills
For patients already on a psychiatric medication, or starting one after an evaluation, ongoing management is the bulk of the work. Follow-ups cover what is working, what side effects have shown up, whether the dose is right, and whether the original diagnosis still fits.
Refills are handled inside that relationship rather than through a separate request queue.

Brief techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing are used within medication management appointments. Standalone talk therapy without medication management is not offered.
