About the practice
One clinician, four states, and no waiting list worth the name
Orange Pacific Mental Health is a telehealth psychiatry practice serving adults across California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with the same prescriber from your first appointment onward.
Our mission
No person left behind.
We aim to challenge the stigma around mental health treatment, reach populations that have traditionally been left out of it, and help train the next generation of behavioral health professionals to carry the same vision forward.
Who you will see
Your provider
Tim Korm, PMHNP-BC
Board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health NP, National University. NPI 1447717657. Licensed in California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona.
What the practice does
Psychiatry, specifically, and not everything else
This is a psychiatric practice. Every patient starts with a full psychiatric evaluation rather than a fifteen-minute intake, and ongoing care is medication management with the same prescriber rather than a new face every few months.
Brief psychotherapy techniques such as CBT and motivational interviewing happen inside the same appointment as medication management, so treatment works on more than one front. Standalone talk therapy sessions without medication management are not offered.
Conditions treated include ADHD, generalized anxiety and panic disorder, depression and persistent depressive disorder, PTSD and trauma-related symptoms, OCD, bipolar disorders, insomnia, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, and stress-related conditions.
How the practice runs
The parts most practices leave you to find out later
Self-pay is $280 first visit, $130 follow-ups, published here rather than quoted on a call. Insurance is accepted and the plans differ by state, so each state page carries its own payer list.
Under a week to a first appointment. Appointments run Mon to Thu 8am to 7pm, Fri to 5pm, Sat 10am to noon (Pacific), which includes evenings and Saturday mornings, because the people who most often go without care are the ones who cannot take a weekday afternoon off.
Being licensed in four states means treatment does not stop when a patient moves. That is a quieter benefit than it sounds, and it is the reason a lot of people end up restarting care from scratch with someone new.
